Week 1 – Self Awareness

Welcome to the start of your 12-week programme. The journey towards a healthier gut isn’t straightforward – stress, infections, sleep disorders, gut-disrupting medicines and vitamin deficiencies can all contribute to a reduction in healthy gut microbiota and as a result poor gut health. It’s an all too common symptom of a modern lifestyle that can lead to health problems that impact not only your physical but also your mental health.

That’s why we’re going to spend your first twelve weeks helping you get to know your gut. 

Throughout this journey we’re going to be taking a deep dive into your diet, sleep, immune system, cognitive function and much, much more, beginning by introducing Aguulp for Gut…

So why start with Aguulp for Gut? It contains a number of essential nutrients that help to support a healthy gut. Take Inulin for example, a soluble fibre that increases the frequency of your bowel movements while also slowing digestion – enabling your body to better absorb nutrients from the food you eat. Also FOS’s & GOS’s, prebiotics which help to increase Bifidobacteria (apologies for all the technical jargon) which produce chemicals known as short chain fatty acids, an important energy source for cells, as well as supporting the function and health of the large intestine – and breeaath. So you now have a better understand of why your taking it, so the next question is when…? 

We’d recommend introducing it into your morning routine. It can be taken out of the sachet at home, stirred into water, a smoothie, with food or taken on the go.

We’d also like you to keep an honest (very honest) food and drink diary of what you’ve been eating and drinking, as well as the feeling you’re left with afterwards.
